Laura joined us in August 2005 and was made an Associate in January 2007.
Laura graduated with an honours degree from Dundee University before completing her Diploma in Legal Practice at Glasgow Graduate School of Law.
Laura specialises in employment law dealing with all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious. She advises on a full spectrum of employment issues arising in the workplace including ill health absences, flexible working requests, redundancy, equality, performance and disciplinary and grievance matters. She also provides tailored employment documentation and advises on the enforceability of restrictive covenants and compromise agreements.
Laura represents both employees and employers before employment tribunals throughout Scotland and is presently involved in many high value employment tribunal claims. Laura is also experienced in advising and representing trade union members in a wide range of employment-related matters.
Coupled with her experience, Laura's friendly and down to earth manner enables her to provide clients with workable solutions and sound commercial advice.
